Gorgeous colours at right now. It's been wonderful seeing the landscaping thrive and change through each season (with very little help from us!).

Company Overview

Assembled Light is an architecture and design studio proudly based in Hamilton, Ontario. With a focus in providing custom solutions for residential, cultural, commercial, and academic applications, the firm offers full architectural and interior design services for clients located throughout Southwestern Ontario.

Our experience of the world is often shaped by our built environment. Assembled Light believes that architecture and design tell stories: stories about our identity, our priorities, our relationship to others and to our surroundings. Good design is experience based, balancing function and aesthetic in such a way as to stimulate our senses while making it easier and more comfortable for us to complete daily tasks and interact with others and the world around us.

The name ‘Assembled Light’ was chosen carefully to reflect the studio’s collaborative and practical approach to delivering beautiful, sustainable spaces. The firm values an integrated design process, carefully assembling teams for each project to ensure clients’ goals are properly identified and met, and that plans move smoothly from the design and engineering phases through to the completion of construction.

The word ‘Light’ recalls the way physical form is defined using highlight and shadow while also embodying a holistic, longer-term view of sustainability which considers both the life cycle of a project and of its inhabitants in efforts to ‘tread lightly’ on our most precious of resources: our planet.
