Today is June 1st which marks the beginning of hurricane season. Hurricane season runs for 6 months until November 30th. According to NOAA- National Hurricane Center The forecast for the 2021 season is to see above normal development making for another active year. 2020 wrapped up the most active hurricane season on record with 30 named storms.
