🚨News!

Over the years, Gildea Group has subcontracted many trades, but we’re now extremely excited to announce that over the past 12 months we have made the decision to perform all roofing in-house. 👏🏻

Historically, we performed shingle work ourselves, but flat roofing (EPDM, TPO, PVC, Coating) was often subcontracted. It soon became apparent that our subcontractor pricing was sky high and we could perform these tasks more cost effectively. We made a handful of key new hires and brought these folks and their vast amounts of knowledge onto our team. 👷

The division is growing rapidly and we are excited to see what the rest of 2024 and 2025 have to bring! We are currently working in the tri-state area, as well as expanding down the east coast with developers and business owners. If you know anyone who needs a full tear-off and replace, leak mitigation, or just a review and cost analysis of their flat roof, please reach out!

Yesterday, we held our annual Safety Stand Down where we cover various safety topics for our employees in the field. This year, we decided to put a fun twist on the meeting by including some fitness challenges, in accordance with our initiative to support employee health and wellness.

While not everyone opted to run the 5k, we were excited to see almost everyone participate in the 1-mile walk 👏🏻 There was even a push-up challenge! After which, we enjoyed a feast set up by our awesome office staff.

This year’s run winner won a $500 cash prize, a Garmin watch for the runner-up, and $100 for the push-up champion 🏆

It was lots of fun and a great chance to see employees outside of their normal setting. Thankful for our team! We’re looking forward to more of these health and wellness challenges in the future!
