Belonging to the armored scale family, obscure scale can cause havoc on your Oak if left untreated. It resides in large groups found on the smooth areas of your tree. The offspring feeds on leaves and small twigs throughout the Summer, which causes stunting that will lead to die-back of your tree’s canopies. If you think you might have this issue, call us today to get one of our Certified Arborists out to check for you!
