TBT finds our VP, Rick Lauer out on the jobsite in Myrtle Beach, SC - Barefoot Landing to be exact. Rick headed south from New Jersey following Hurricane Hugo, helping to repair/rebuild what nature had distroyed. He would later enroll in the Construction Science program at Clemson University where he was recruited by a Charlotte-based home builder, managed by Anita MacNeil. After the sale of this company, both would leave to form MacNeil Homes, designing and building custom homes in the Charlotte area for over 13 years.
