This week a few of our team members participated in the WLCA (WI Landscape Contractors Association) Day of Service at the Polish Center of Wisconsin. It was a great day working with other companies to help beautify the front entrance at the center. Check it out for yourself if you should ever visit!

Aeration offers numerous benefits for your lawn, including soil loosening, improved drainage, thatch prevention, and enhanced nutrient absorption for robust root growth. Late summer through fall is the ideal season for aeration, allowing grass seeds to germinate and establish strong roots before colder temperatures arrive. At Beautiful Blooms we offer Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) treatments for ash trees! Treatment is a trunk injection. The product is injected directly into the truck of the tree and lasts for 2 years, spreading through the vascular system. Call us if you have an Ash tree in need of our service!

WLCA awards night-- Our employees have had a great safety record for multiple years running, taking 1st-3rd in various catagories in our division, no time lost due to injury, and no vehicle roadway accidents. Landscape work is inherantly dangerous, we work hard at keeping our team safe. Good job, team! Let's do the same again in 2022!

The last few weeks have been full of education at Beautiful Blooms. We are always educating our staff, to give our clients the most up to date services and knowledge.

My curb side leave collection guys are the bomb! I took this video yesterday to use for 2018 training. There's more to add to this, but you get the idea. The debris loader is my favorite piece of equipment! Featuring 6 season vet, Zach E.

The past week has been pretty fun and amazing...and exhausting. I reconnected with and met new people in my profession from across the country. Many conversations to share ideas and solutions and at one point I literally was lost on the HUGE trade show floor. Next year, BBLD will send other employees to this national event as part of our ongoing mission of growing the profession. Who do you know that might be interested in a landscape career? I'd love to talk with them!

I didn't trip! Success!! NALP (Nat'l Assoc. of Landscape Professionals) recognized me for becoming a Trailblazer. "Trailblazer peer mentors are an elite group of Landscape industry leaders who are nominated by their peers for making significant, long term contributions to the industry.".

Spent the day expanding our horizons and deepening our understanding of Landscape systems and how to manage them sustainably. The saying about getting to the root of the problem holds value! Healthy soil is key!!! We invest heavily in the education and development of our team.
